Business as Mission
The Little by Little process is part of what makes us so different. Join us in rethinking how we help the most impoverished in the world. Our model challenges conventional wisdom and offers new solutions. We say no to more orphanages and yes to keeping families together.
We partner with organizations working in family reunification projects to identify at risk parents or parents that are in the process of being reunified with their children.
We hire parents to begin a paid per-diem training phase while complex jewellery making skills are acquired.
The training period ends, and employees are paid per piece and earning potential increases.
We sell products at markets, festivals, shows, online and at home parties.
Profit from sales returns to Haiti in the form of a sustainable wage, supplies, and improvements to working conditions.
Little by Little currently employs 19 people in Haiti. Here are a few of the staff we are privileged to have working with us. Meet our team and see how your support is making a difference.
We do our best to source all of our materials ethically. This extends our impact beyond our Little by Little staff.
Clay and paper beads are hand rolled in Haiti. Glass beads are melted down in Ghana. Wood beads are carved out in Bethlehem. Wax cord is sourced from Thailand. Metal art is purchased from local Haitian artisans, providing them with the opportunity to sell their wares abroad.
